arrived late last night in pretoria after a week and a half on the road. toured the eastern cape and had such a wonderful time!!! die mense in die oos kaap is amazing! love performing for them and really had such a unforgettable time. dankie aan almal wat ons ondersteun het, bay fm, die burger en die paxton hotel. ek en wynand waardeer jou ondersteuning baie. dankie ook aan almal wat kom ondersteun het. hoop julle het dit net so baie geniet soos ons.

maar ja, wynie is vandag more en woensdag weer in die studio besig met opnames vir sy nuwe album. ek het al van die songs gehoor en wow! dit gaan 'n goeie album wees. ons neem nog 'n duet saam op - waar die liefde ons lei. nog 'n liedjie uit die pen van ons beste maaitjie, tony ridgway. maar ja, vandag vat ek dit rustig.

for those of you that do not have facebook, i am officially breaking the news on my blog about my pregnancy! wynand and i are expecting a bambino! insane, but true. this has made me realise that the Man upstairs has His own plans with me. i am already 14 weeks pregnant, so the time is getting less and less, and my tummy is getting bigger and bigger! but both of us are very excited! looking forward to everything that the future holds for us! my motherly instinct tells me that this is a little girl.....lets see - the next scan is on the 10th of august....shall let you know.

anyway, i am off to rehearse for our show on thursday at the lemonjack theater in centurion and also to continue working on my website! this is taking forever!

ok, so seeing as how people have started complaining that my website is still not up and running, i have decided to at least blog while i attempt to finish the website! it's my fault, i apologise. wynand bought me a new web design program for my birthday, and it's taking me some time to get to know it, so that is the reason why i have not yet published the new site. but it's coming...a work in progress...

so life is still wonderful, in fact, it could not get better. wynand and i were at home this weekend - our last weekend at home until october. insane. i am looking forward to showing again! have been off for an entire month! wynand has been on his annual hunting trip, and i spent 2 weeks alone in my bedroom. missed him terribly.

the weather in langebaan today was amazing! heaven on earth. we joined my mom and the twins on the beach this afternoon, here are a few pics to prove it!

wynand has shaved his beard for the second time in 4 years! it reminds me too much of the old wynand, but i guess it grows back!!! my brother and his wife joined us. that's marlize and des above with ethan. the twins, monique and gabrielle, were kayaking this afternoon. with them are charleen and our cousin, dewald. what an amazing day. the weather is simply stunning. feels like a holiday.

so the world cup is almost completed, as well as the school holidays! it's been a surreal experience watching the soccer world cup take place on our south african soil! every time i watch a match, i am astounded by the fact that it's all unfolding in sa. i am also so proud of our bafana team. they really did well! a pity they fell out, but never the less, they did the entire sa proud!

ok, so i thought i would just pop in and let you know that i am still alive and kicking and that i have not disappeared! wynand and i are touring the eastern cape this coming week or two, and then off to pta for a few theatre shows. the show is called "van koos tot country" - it's going to be stunning! herewith follows details regarding the shows. if you are in the area, we hope to see you!
